Under the agreement, signed on the sidelines of the Sharjah Publisher Conference, Evoteq will design and develop an advanced digital platform to enable PublishHer to strengthen its capacity to connect with and support women in the global publishing ecosystem. The new platform will provide a range of specialised educational tools, career mentorship opportunities, and effective, instant communication features, along with a global directory of female publishing professionals, creating a comprehensive digital community for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and professional development.
Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, founder of the Sharjah Publisher Conference, stated that PublishHer’s strength lies in the global community, a space that women working in publishing have both demanded and helped shape. A dedicated digital platform is essential to sustaining this community, and with Evoteq’s expertise, tools that enable them to connect, learn, and grow together will be developed. She added: “I would also like to point out that this partnership will help PublishHer expand its reach and empower more women to reach leadership positions in the publishing industry worldwide, wherever they may be.”
For his part, Khaled Al Huraimel, CEO and Vice Chairman of Beeah, stated: “Evoteq embodies our commitment to developing innovative digital solutions with a positive social impact. Through this partnership, we are proud to support PublishHer with a digital platform that fosters collaboration and diversity and expands opportunities for women in the publishing industry globally.”
It is important to recognise that this partnership will strengthen PublishHer’s influence as a leading global movement centred on awareness, events, and its evolution into a comprehensive ecosystem. It is a fully integrated digital initiative dedicated to women’s leadership, professional development, and fostering international collaboration, thereby establishing a new benchmark for digital empowerment in the publishing sector.
