The Khorfakkan Amphitheatre is a unique architectural landmark overlooking the Corniche, surrounded by majestic mountains reaching toward the sky. It has become an important cultural and artistic destination in Sharjah, designed in a blend of Islamic and Roman styles. Its scenic location—towering mountains, a pristine coastline, and breathtaking wadis—has earned Khorfakkan the title of the “Bride of the East Coast.”
Across Khorfakkan, streets are adorned with festive lights and decorations celebrating this cherished national occasion, uniting residents in love for the homeland, pride in its cultural identity and values, and recognition of the nation’s strength derived from unity in diversity.
The celebrations have been carefully designed to include all community groups through interactive activities that bring together the young and the elderly, ensuring broad community participation and meaningful discussions about the stories of the Union. These activities strengthen emotional bonds among community members, connect them with the heritage of the past, and encourage them to celebrate the present while playing an active role in shaping the future.
