Sharjah 24: Khorfakkan is celebrating the 54th Eid Al Etihad, showcasing an atmosphere filled with joy and pride. The event drew a large attendance of residents, visitors, and community members, all coming together to honor this significant occasion.

A city adorned in national spirit

Khorfakkan is beautifully decorated with a vibrant national spirit that reflects the pride of its people in their heritage, identity, and deeply rooted values.

Maritime parade and water activities

The celebrations featured a maritime parade with boats, organized by the Sharjah Fisheries Authority, the Khorfakkan Fishermen’s Association, and the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, along with various water sports activities.

Musical evenings at Khorfakkan amphitheatre

The Khorfakkan Amphitheatre is hosting a special musical evening featuring artists Hussain Al Jasmi and Fouad Abdelwahid, blending art and authenticity on the 29th of November.

Free musical event on December 1

Additionally, the amphitheatre will host another musical event showcasing Faiz Al Saeed, Khalifa Al Washahi, and Mohammed Al Mazem, offering free admission to all attendees on the 1st of December.

“Pulse of the Nation” operetta and folkloric performances

The celebrations also include the operetta "Pulse of the Nation," highlighting the journey of the Union and the values of belonging, along with other folkloric dance performances.

Cultural, youth, and community activities

The program includes interactive activities such as youth council panel discussions, cultural and national platforms for children and young adults, and discussion sessions with senior citizens. Additional highlights include poetry evenings and cultural competitions that attract significant public participation.

Community participation and heritage displays

Various participants—including productive families, traditional and military performance groups, and food truck vendors—contribute to the festivities. A dedicated photography studio is available for visitors, enhancing the experience. The celebrations feature folkloric and heritage shows that showcase the richness of Emirati identity.

During the celebration days, Khorfakkan is beautifully decorated with national flags and ornaments, creating a vibrant scene that reflects the community's unity and pride in the values of the Union, which are fundamental to the strength and cohesion of the UAE.
