Sharjah Police drops traffic points for violations pre Dec 1

Sharjah Police recently announced a special offer for drivers to help them clear their traffic violations. Thanks to the approval from the Executive Council of Sharjah, if you have any traffic violations from before December 1, 2025, you can get rid of them without any penalty points, as long as you pay the fines by January 10, 2026. This initiative is part of the celebrations for the country’s 54th Eid Al Etihad and highlights the progress and achievements of the Union.

Additionally, if you pay your traffic fines within 60 days of receiving them, you can benefit from a 35% discount, which also includes fees for vehicle impoundment during that time. If you miss the 60-day window but pay within a year, you can still get a 25% discount on the fine itself, though this does not apply to serious violations or any points you may have accumulated during that time.

The police encourage everyone to take advantage of these discounts to resolve their traffic issues and avoid accumulating points on their licenses. This initiative aims to improve road safety and promote responsible driving behavior. You can pay your fines easily through the police website or the Ministry of Interior app.
