Sharjah 24: On the occasion of the UAE's 54th Eid Al Etihad, Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and President of the American University of Sharjah, stated that celebrating the UAE's 54th Eid Al Etihad honors the vision of our founding fathers and the leadership that continues to carry that vision forward with wisdom and purpose.

According to Her Highness Sheikha Bodour, the strength of the union has always rested on a simple but profound truth: a nation rises when its people are empowered with knowledge, opportunity, and purpose. From the earliest days, the UAE leaders invested in education not as policy but as a promise, building institutions that prepare each generation to lead, innovate, and contribute to our country's future.

“Culture has been equally central to our national story. Through culture, we have given voice to our union, connecting Emiratis across seven emirates and building bridges with the world. Our investment in books, arts, and heritage has shaped how we see ourselves and how the world sees us as a nation rooted in tradition yet open to new ideas,” Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi said.

Her Highness added, “This commitment to investing in people is most visible in the rise of Emirati women, who today lead and excel across every field and sector and define new possibilities for those who follow. Their success is not separate from our national story but the natural outcome of a country that believes deeply in the potential of all its people.”

Her Highness extended her heartfelt congratulations to the nation’s leadership and to all the people of the UAE, reaffirming pride in a nation built on unity, vision, and a shared responsibility to safeguard its future.
