Al Dhaid Club concludes 54th Eid Al Etihad Shooting Championship

Wide participation

The four-day championship witnessed high-quality competitions with wide participation from clubs in the UAE and the GCC countries.

The rifle and pistol categories were featured, and the competitions were characterised by a high level of performance and skill. The Al Dhaid Club team achieved outstanding results, securing top positions in several categories.

The closing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Obaid Al Hosan, Secretary General of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC); His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club; His Excellency Rashid Abdullah bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Secretary of Al Dhaid Club; His Excellency Malek Musbeh Al Ketbi, General Supervisor of the Al Dhaid Club Shooting Range; His Excellency Saif Ali bin Dalwan Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee at Al Dhaid Club; Mr Muhair Obaid Al Khayal Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of Al Dhaid Club; and a number of community figures.

Honourable results

The results of the competitions in the men's rifle category were as follows: Ibrahim Khalil Ibrahim won first place, Khalid Al-Dosari second place, and Abdullah Al-Sunaidi third place.

In the women's rifle category, Nouf Al-Dosari came in first, Maha Al Ali second place, and Fatima Abdul Rahman third place.

In the men's pistol category, Ahmed Al-Amiri won first place, Mohammed Nasser Al-Yafai second place, and Amin Muthanna third place.

In the women's pistol category, Mouza Abdul Rahim came in first, Badriya Al-Atawi second place, and Karima Mouqaf third place. In the junior rifle category, Abdul Rahim Al-Sulti won first place, Saad Al-Sulaiti second place, and Sultan Saleh third place.

In the junior women's rifle category, Fatima Al-Suwaidi came in first, Dalal Al-Qubaisi second place, and Ritaj Al-Yafai third place.

In the junior men's pistol category, Mohammed Saleh Kamel came in first, and Saud Al Ali second place.

In the junior women's pistol category, Reem Al-Ketbi came in first, Ahed Al-Balushi second place, and Laila Al-Naqbi third place.

His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Howaiden Al Ketbi extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to the wise leadership on the occasion of the 54th Eid Al Etihad, affirming that the successes achieved by the country in Various fields, especially the sports sector, are the fruit of inspiring leadership visions that support sports and society and give young people ample opportunities to excel.
