The programme featured live musical performances by members of the Quarter of a Century Music Centre, part of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators. These performances showcased the girls’ talents and encouraged creative appreciation among audiences of all ages.
The initiative also included film screenings in collaboration with FUNN – the Sharjah-based media arts organisation – adding an artistic element that enriched the cultural experience for participants.
A wide range of cultural and artistic activities was offered, including dialogue sessions, musical evenings, and cinematic showcases. Theatre performances by members of the Quarter of a Century Centre for Theatre and Performing Arts were also featured, along with presentations of results from various workshops and training programmes.
The initiative aimed to boost creative awareness among girls, support the discovery of their talents, and provide opportunities to develop and showcase their abilities.
The programme concentrated heavily on joint activities involving members and their mothers. These included flower arranging, cake-decorating contests, and hand-knitting sessions. The workshops aimed to strengthen social bonds, enhance a sense of belonging, and reinforce relationships between families and Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah.
Over its eight weeks, “Khamisna Ghir” fostered cultural and artistic awareness within a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment that promoted dialogue and creative expression. The initiative provided a comprehensive educational and recreational experience customised to the interests of family members of all ages.
Sajaya emphasised that the programme's success was due to the support and collaboration of several local institutions in Sharjah, guided by a vision that promotes shared values of cooperation, mutual appreciation, and community engagement.
