Rubu’ Qarn Centre announces 2026 programmes

Sharjah 24: Khaled Ibrahim Al Nakhi, Director of the Sharjah Capability Development (Tatweer), announced the launch of the “Open Theatre Day” event, showcasing the achievements of the Rubu’ Qarn Centre for Theatre and Performing Arts in 2025 and unveiling the programmes and events planned for 2026. The event was held on Saturday at the Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah Centre.

Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Al Nakhi emphasised that the “Open Day” serves as a platform to celebrate the theatre’s achievements over the past year, showcase high-quality productions and participation within the UAE and internationally, and foster dialogue on future development strategies.

Rubu’ Qarn Theatre’s achievements in 2025

Al Nakhi explained that the event included a panel discussion reviewing the Rubu’ Qarn Theatre’s most significant achievements in 2025, including its local and international presence and participation, reflecting the evolution of the artistic experience and its growing prominence.

2026 initiatives

Al Nakhi added that the panel discussed the most important initiatives planned for implementation this year, as well as the theatre’s needs for ideas and supporting personnel, in order to contribute to raising production quality, expanding the scope of programmes, and sustaining the artistic and cultural impact.
