Held in collaboration with Tamkeen Training Centre, the session was delivered by Dr Mohammed Yehya, who presented methods of individual and team motivation, mechanisms for effective coach–player communication, and the importance of body language and dialogue management in building trust and boosting team morale. The workshop also addressed coping with competitive pressure, understanding athletes’ psychological needs, and applying practical techniques to improve performance in training environments.
Dr Yehya praised the strong engagement shown by coaches and administrators, noting that their positive interaction reflects a genuine desire to develop their skills and enhance team performance. He added that the workshop provides an important opportunity to equip staff with scientific tools that support stronger relationships with athletes and lead to better results.
Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi, board member and head of the Cultural and Community Service Committee, affirmed that the workshop forms part of the club’s ongoing efforts to develop its technical and administrative teams. He commended the fruitful cooperation with Tamkeen Training Centre and the high-quality content delivered.
