Reception and attendance
The Council delegation was received by Sultan Mattar bin Dalmooj Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Establishment’s Board of Directors, accompanied by Omar Al Shamsi, the Director. The committee was headed by Sheikha Ali Al Naqbi, with members Kulthoum Saif Al Tunaiji, Dr Ahmed Saleh Al Naqbi and Sheikha Al Dhaneen Al Naqbi in attendance, alongside representatives of the Council’s General Secretariat.
Institutional mission and programmes
During the meeting, the establishment’s objectives were outlined. Established under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the establishment serves the Holy Quran, its sciences, and the Prophetic Sunnah through educational programmes, community initiatives, Quranic awards and educational competitions that promote moderation and awareness.
Achievements and future development
The visit also reviewed the establishment’s efforts in organising Quran memorisation circles across Sharjah and managing year-round Quranic awards, along with key statistics and achievements. Discussions focused on enhancing support for Quranic programmes targeting all segments of society and improving outcomes that foster reading, memorisation and proper recitation among children and youth, contributing to the ethical and cultural development of future generations.
