Operating 24/7, the centre handled 522 reports of water accumulation and 7 reports of fallen trees, all of which were promptly forwarded to field teams for resolution.
During the weather event, the call centre introduced a dedicated number to receive reports from the Sharjah Police General Command regarding water accumulation, as well as a separate line for field teams to coordinate directly. These measures improved the speed, efficiency, and quality of the centre’s response efforts.
