Emirates Children's Theatre Festival honours Abdullah Rashid

Organised by the Theatrical Association, this year’s festival celebrates Emirati artist Abdullah Rashid as its Personality and will run until December 27, featuring seven theatrical performances.

Abdullah Rashid recognised for four decades of theatre

Abdullah Rashid expressed pride and gratitude at being honoured, highlighting the festival’s strong support from His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, a key advocate for the theatre movement in the UAE. He thanked the Theatrical Association for the recognition, marking a culmination of his 40-year career in theatre.

Rashid noted that the festival, with performances by a select group of artists, showcases the creativity and excellence that Emirati children’s theatre has achieved, conveying its artistic distinction to audiences locally and internationally.
