The meeting took place at the Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi, where the two leaders exchanged New Year greetings and conveyed their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for both nations and their peoples.
During the talks, the leaders discussed the longstanding strategic relations between the UAE and France and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation, particularly in the areas of economy, investment, culture, renewable energy, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and other sectors aligned with their shared development vision.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; as well as a number of ministers and senior officials.
It was also attended by the delegation accompanying the French President, which included several ministers and senior officials.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan hosted a luncheon in honour of President Macron and the accompanying delegation.
President Macron arrived in the UAE earlier today and was received at the Presidential Flight in Abu Dhabi by H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, along with several senior officials.
