Sharjah 24: Sharjah Youth and Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, part of the Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Future Leaders, are excited to continue their program called "Gulf Bridges – The Gulf Program for Young Leaders." This year's event will take place from December 21 to 25, in partnership with the Gulf Cooperation Council. The program aims to help young people develop important life skills and become future leaders.

During the program, young leaders from various Gulf countries will participate in three engaging workshops at the Rubu’ Qarn Centre for Life Skills.

The first workshop, titled “A Journey with Myself,” led by trainer Yaqoub Al Najem, focuses on understanding oneself as a crucial step in becoming a leader. He discussed how setting goals can help individuals sharpen their skills and focus their energy on achieving their dreams, while also introducing ideas that explain how our self-perception affects our actions and decisions.

The second workshop, “Leadership Skills,” was conducted by Dr Hanaa Namankani. Here, she emphasized the importance of self-awareness for young leaders and led fun activities that encouraged participants to think critically and explore their aspirations, helping them find clear paths to their goals.

The third workshop, called “Leadership Values,” was facilitated by trainer Ashwaq Ahmed Bu Ali. This session focused on how to adopt core values that support personal and professional growth. Key values highlighted included empathy, humility, tolerance, and emotional intelligence, showing how these qualities can help achieve one's objectives.

In a unique learning experience, participants visited the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences, and Technology, where they enjoyed exhibits about the universe's origins. They also took part in a workshop on “Leading Others in Teams,” presented by trainer Aziz Al Ameri. This workshop taught participants how effective leaders can positively influence others, emphasizing traits that help in building strong teams based on trust and collaboration.

Additionally, participants explored a wheat farm in the Mleiha region, learning about Sharjah's development projects aimed at achieving food security and advancing sustainable agriculture. They had the chance to engage in a discussion led by Asrar Al Ansari from the Gulf Cooperation Council, who introduced the Council's role in fostering unity and cooperation among Gulf nations. This session allowed young people to share ideas and discuss ways to work together, ensuring a bright future for the youth of the Gulf countries.
