Khorfakkan Beach combines heritage and New Year celebrations

Continuing support for heritage and national events

Noura Al Darmaki, Operations Manager of Khorfakkan Beach, highlighted that the beach continues its role in supporting heritage and national events through hosting the Khorfakkan Marine Festival, organised by the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club and Al Sharqiya Channel from Kalba, with participation from 10 countries. The festival runs until 4 January 2026, following the success of the previous two editions.

Comprehensive services for visitors

Al Darmaki explained, in statements to “Sharjah 24,” that Khorfakkan Beach provides a comprehensive system of services to ensure the success of the festival. These include preparing spaces and necessary facilities, supporting transport, securing safe crossing areas, as well as electricity and maintenance services, operational and media support, in addition to security, cleanliness, and signage, all to ensure a safe and exceptional experience for visitors and participants.

New Year’s Eve festivities

The Operations Manager added that, alongside the festival, the beach hosts New Year’s Eve activities, including a 10-minute fireworks display, family entertainment shows, and a variety of activities provided by food and beverage outlets along the beach.

Noura Al Darmaki invited the public to visit the beach and enjoy the marine atmosphere, heritage events, and entertainment activities in a complete experience that reflects the beauty of the location and the integration of services.
