Sharjah 24: Badr Al Zarouni, Deputy Director of Al Qudra Sports Management, announced the launch of the second edition of the Oceanic Triathlon in Khorfakkan, with 450 participants competing in various distances, including children's, short, middle, and long-distance categories. The race included swimming, cycling, and running, and was supported by Khorfakkan Police, Sharjah Sports Council, and Khor Fakkan Sports and Cultural Club, with the aim of promoting sports participation. This edition witnessed a remarkable turnout and increased participation from citizens.

Badr Al Zarouni, Deputy Director of Al Qudra Sports Management, revealed the organisation of the second edition of the Oceanic Triathlon this season, which was held in Khorfakkan with various distances, including children's, short, middle, and long-distance categories, amidst wide participation from different categories.
Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, the Deputy Director of Al Qudra Sports Management said that the number of participants exceeded expectations, reaching 450. He noted that this edition was distinguished by the remarkable participation of UAE nationals, reflecting the growing interest in sports within the community.
Three main stages
Al Zarouni explained that the race comprised three main stages, beginning with swimming and cycling, and concluding with running. He added that the competitions proceeded smoothly and were exceptionally well-organised, thanks to the support of Khorfakkan Police in securing the routes, as well as the support of the Sharjah Sports Council and Khorfakkan Sports and Cultural Club, and the participation of the Oceanic Hotel as the event sponsor.
