Sharjah 24: Sharjah City Municipality announced the implementation of six intensive and comprehensive workshops on rental regulation services during the second half of 2025.
Facilitating transactions
Workshops, attended by 600 employees from 556 companies and real estate offices in the emirate, align with the municipality's objectives to raise awareness about various rental issues and procedures.
The workshops also highlighted the rental law, its executive regulations, and the digital services offered by the municipality to facilitate transactions for clients and enable them to complete a greater number of transactions in record time.
Enhancing the efficiency of real estate employees
In this context, Abdullah Al-Shuhail, Director of the Rental Regulation Department at Sharjah City Municipality, affirmed that the municipality provided all the necessary tools, resources, and experienced and qualified staff to deliver the workshops. The aim was to enhance the efficiency of employees in real estate companies, offices, and service centres that provide rental regulation services, thereby delivering high-quality services to clients. This reflects the municipality's vision and commitment to customer satisfaction and ensuring easy and convenient service delivery, particularly through the digital tools and methods it has provided.
Abdullah Al-Shuhail explained that the municipality also conducted workshops and field visits to 192 real estate companies, during which it reviewed joint efforts with relevant government entities and departments, particularly regarding the electronic integration of services on a single platform. This eliminates the need to visit multiple agencies simultaneously, thus enhancing service efficiency and speed.
Aqari
The Director of the Rental Regulation Department at Sharjah City Municipality noted that workshops and visits highlighted the Aqari platform, launched by the Sharjah Digital Department in cooperation with Sharjah City Municipality. This platform offers various rental services, and the workshops aimed to familiarise real estate companies and offices with its importance, how to access its services, and to encourage them to register on the platform, add company data, identify authorised individuals for contract verification and review, and complete other necessary procedures.
