Sharjah24: Razan Fahad Al Hammadi, Director of the Green Development Department at Sharjah’s Department of Agriculture and Livestock, said the Mleiha Dairy project reflects the emirate’s efforts to achieve food security. The project includes several facilities, namely the farm, the factory, a rotary milking parlour, and an administration centre. The farm has earned a Guinness World Records certificate as the world’s largest farm of A2A2 dairy cattle and has a maximum production capacity of around 600 tonnes of dairy products per day. Its products are distinguished by being organic and free from any additives.

Al Hammadi added that the Mleiha Dairy factory is one of the project’s key facilities, alongside the farm, the rotary milking parlour, designated feed collection areas, and the administration and visitor reception centre.

In statements to Sharjah24, she explained that the factory has been equipped with the latest machinery in line with the highest global standards to meet local market requirements. She noted that the factory’s products are organic, additive-free, and of high quality, producing laban, various types of milk, yoghurt, and labneh.
