The exhibition at the 16th Arab Theatre Festival in Cairo includes publications specifically for the festival in the Egyptian book category. The collection covers diverse and foundational books on theatre arts, including directing, acting, and theatre theory, compiled in 12 specialized volumes.

He told “Sharjah 24” that, in addition to specialised festival books, the exhibition features works from various Arab countries, including translations, theatre criticism, short plays, and feature plays. Dr Eidabi noted that the exhibition has been very popular with the public, particularly due to the affordable prices of the books.
Spotlight on Emirati theatre
The exhibition includes the recently published book Theatre in the Emirates by Dr Haitham Al-Khawaja, which explores the development of Emirati theatre from heritage to modernity. Books from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Sudan, and Bahrain are also featured, highlighting the diversity and richness of Arab theatre.
