Haitham bin Saqr attends Adventures Festival in Kalba

Sharjah24: Dr Asma Mohammed Al Darmaki, Director of Kalba Branch of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, said the Treasure of Adventurers Festival launched at Kalba Mall with Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi present. The event features interactive activities, competitions, prizes, entertainment, educational activities, and a corner for Takween projects. Organised by Kalba University and the Kalba Branch, it lasts 3 days.

The festival offers a wide range of educational, recreational, and interactive activities to strengthen community participation and provide an engaging experience for families and visitors of all ages. A number of directors and officials from institutions in Kalba attended the opening.

Dr Asmaa Mohammed Al Darmaki, Director of the Kalba branch of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, said the festival includes competitions, prizes, and interactive educational activities, as well as a dedicated corner featuring “Takween” projects affiliated with the City.

Raising awareness and strengthening partnerships

Al Darmaki explained that the festival also includes sensory and interactive activities designed to raise awareness of people with disabilities and to highlight programmes and methods used to support and rehabilitate them. She noted that the event reflects the importance of institutional partnerships in creating a supportive community environment that fosters creativity and inclusion.
