SEWA completes new water reservoir project in Al Haray

Sharjah 24: As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the water sector's infrastructure and keep pace with urban and population growth, Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) announced the completion of a new vital water reservoir in Al Haray residential area of Khorfakkan. The reservoir has a storage capacity of 1.35 million gallons and was constructed according to the highest approved technical and engineering standards.

Efficiency of the engineering, technical, and administrative teams

Rashid Al Kabouri, Deputy Director of SEWA's Khorfakkan branch, explained that the project aims to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the water distribution system, enhance water security, and improve the reliability of water supplies to current and future residential and service areas. The reservoir will serve Al Haray residential, commercial, and industrial areas, ensuring continuous and efficient service and supporting development and expansion plans in the region.

Engineer Mohammed Al Houti, SEWA's project supervisor, confirmed that the project was completed ahead of schedule. This achievement reflects the efficiency of the engineering, technical, and administrative teams and SEWA's commitment to executing its strategic projects to the highest standards of quality and operational efficiency, thus enhancing the infrastructure's readiness for future needs.
