Sharjah24: Sharjah’s Souq Al Jubail markets in Sharjah City, Al Dhaid, and Kalba recorded more than 5.8 million visitors in 2025, reflecting their growing status as leading commercial, retail, and social destinations that support economic activity and strengthen the emirate’s food security.

The sustained increase in footfall highlights the success of Souq Al Jubail in providing fresh, diverse food products under one roof, meeting the highest quality and safety standards, and advancing development plans focused on sustainability, service excellence, and community needs.

Souq Al Jubail – Sharjah City

Abdalla Al Shamsi, Senior Manager of Sharjah Markets, said the Sharjah City branch welcomed more than 4 million shoppers in 2025. He attributed this growth to major seasonal events, including the Date Festival, Ramadan Festival, and Jubail Winter Festival, as well as the introduction of valet parking, which enhanced the overall shopping experience.

Souq Al Jubail – Al Dhaid

Talal Mohamed, Director of Central Region Markets, reported nearly 985,000 visitors, supported by expanded facilities, including a new hypermarket and additional restaurant and café units.

Souq Al Jubail – Kalba

Hilal Al Naqbi, Senior Manager for Eastern Region Markets, said the Kalba market welcomed around 851,000 shoppers, reinforcing its role as a vital community hub.

Souq Al Jubail markets are managed by Sharjah Asset Management.
