President’s Cup: Al Jazira edge Bani Yas to reach semi-finals

Sharjah 24: Al Jazira secured the final spot in the President’s Cup semi-finals with a 2–1 victory over Bani Yas in their quarter-final clash at Al Nahyan Stadium.

Vinicius Melo opened the scoring for Al Jazira in the 40th minute, before Suhail Al Noubi equalised for Bani Yas late in the match. Bruno de Oliveira then struck the decisive goal to seal Al Jazira’s place in the semi-finals.
