SCDA strengthens cooperation with Al Kharous Council

Sharjah 24: Al Kharous recently witnessed a field visit by the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority (SCDA).

The visit aimed to explore avenues of cooperation and joint coordination between the two sides, as well as to anticipate future collaboration to enhance the services provided to the residents of Al Kharous.

This step reflects the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department’s keenness, represented by Al Kharous Council, to strengthen partnerships with service entities. The visit also forms part of a comprehensive strategy to improve the quality of life in the suburbs.

The delegation was received by His Excellency Juma Abdullah Al Hammoudi, Chairman of Al Kharous Council, and the meeting was attended by the council members.

The two sides discussed mechanisms to enhance cooperation in the fields of prevention and safety, focusing on the development of joint plans to meet the needs of Al Kharous. The visit embodied institutional integration in serving the objectives of community development.

It also underscored the highest priority given to residents’ safety, positioning Al Kharous as a model for collaboration between community institutions and specialised government entities, with efforts underway to unify initiatives to build a safe and sustainable environment.

The meeting further addressed cooperation and a comprehensive developmental vision to devise innovative solutions for community service, particularly where security and safety form a fundamental pillar in suburban development plans.

His Excellency Juma Abdullah Al Hammoudi, Chairman of Al Kharous Council, emphasised the importance of following up on the implementation of joint initiatives to ensure the achievement of the desired outcomes and to meet the objectives of future plans, including raising readiness levels to address various scenarios.

He also noted that both sides would work on establishing institutional frameworks to sustain constructive cooperation, cementing shared concepts of social responsibility and achieving the highest standards of safety and protection for the district’s residents.
