Sharjah 24: Dr Mohammed Youssef, Member of the Emirates Fine Arts Society and General Supervisor of the “Kashtat” exhibition at Sharjah Heritage Days, expressed his gratitude to the Sharjah Institute for Heritage for providing the College of Fine Arts with the opportunity to connect heritage with academic studies through hosting various student exhibitions.

Dr Youssef explained that the College of Fine Arts presents the exhibition within the framework of the Sharjah Heritage Exhibition during the Sharjah International Narrator Forum, under the theme Tales of the Travellers. The exhibition features four AI-generated visual presentations depicting the journeys of travellers and the diverse cultures they encountered around the world.

Speaking to “Sharjah 24,” Youssef clarified that “Kashtat” is a local Emirati term meaning a journey or venturing outside the city to explore the world. He added that this year’s exhibition offers a rich artistic experience for visitors, showcasing traditional costumes from different regions to emphasise diversity and travel, highlighting how culture, arts, and heritage intersect with academic research.
