Al Hamriyah concludes elite swimming camp

Sharjah24: Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club concluded the “Elite” swimming camp on Saturday, having hosted it since 8 February. The camp was supervised by Dr Mohammed El Dessouki, head coach of the Egyptian national team, and by Captain Abdulrahman Al Arabi “Hreidi,” the African record holder.

The camp concluded with the presentation of participation certificates to 24 swimmers, in the presence of His Excellency Humaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of Al Hamriyah Club; Thamer Al Shamsi, Director of Individual Sports Affairs; and Walid Al Mashhout, a member of the Talents Committee at the Sharjah Sports Council.

Praise for coaches and participants

The club chairman praised the efforts of Dr El Dessouki and Captain Hreidi during the camp, noting their sharing of extensive experience with participants. He also commended the swimmers’ discipline and commitment, as well as the active role played by parents in the camp’s success.

Successful experience for young swimmers

Dr El Dessouki and Captain Hreidi expressed their gratitude to Al Hamriyah Club for its professional organisation, noting that the camp was successful in developing the swimmers’ skills and would positively impact their future sporting careers.
