Sharjah24: Mohammed Abdullah Al Balushi, a member of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), stated that council members reviewed the policies of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department on Monday during the eleventh session of the third regular meeting of the eleventh legislative term.

Al Balushi told “Sharjah 24” that discussions focused on readiness to link the Real Estate Registration Department with the Planning and Survey Department. The proposed integration would enable property maps and ownership documents to be updated and issued directly during the registration process, streamlining property sales transactions and improving service efficiency.

Facilitating procedures for foreign investors

The council also addressed procedures for foreign clients acquiring property, with the aim of simplifying and accelerating real estate transactions and enhancing the investment environment in the emirate.

Presentation on achievements and future projects

Al Balushi added that government representatives provided detailed responses to council members’ enquiries, including a comprehensive presentation outlining the department’s achievements and its upcoming projects to enhance services and support the growth of the real estate sector.
