Sharjah 24: Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) member Sheikha Ali Al Naqbi stated that the council approved, on Thursday, its recommendations concerning the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department (SDAD) during its fifteenth general session of the third ordinary term of the eleventh legislative chapter.

Sheikha Ali Al Naqbi said the council approved seven recommendations related to the SDAD as part of efforts to develop community work and enhance the quality of life for citizens. She noted that the session discussed several key themes, most notably strengthening institutional governance within suburb councils and developing their services in line with population growth in the Emirate of Sharjah.

Al Naqbi added, in statements to “Sharjah 24”, that the recommendations also included supporting social initiatives, empowering families, and enhancing integration between various government entities, which ultimately serves the interests of the emirate. She further stressed the importance of digital transformation and raising community preparedness to face challenges, crises, and emergencies, reflecting Sharjah’s vision of building a cohesive and sustainable society.
