The agreement was signed at Police Headquarters in the presence of Major General Abdullah Mubarak Bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police. Brigadier Dr Ali Buzoud, Director-General of Resources and Support Services, signed on behalf of SP, while Sana Wahman, Group Chief Executive Officer of Mobility at AW Rostamani, represented the company.
Senior officials from both sides attended the signing ceremony, including Hossam Baghdadi, Chief Operating Officer of Arabian Automobiles Company, and Zaher Sabbagh, Director of Chery UAE, along with several officers and department heads.
Under the arrangement, officers and civilian staff will be able to obtain vehicles through an instalment-based leasing plan that leads to ownership at the end of the term. The scheme offers an alternative to conventional bank loans, with payment terms arranged directly through the programme.
Brigadier Dr Buzoud said the move forms part of Sharjah Police’s ongoing efforts to enhance employee welfare and provide practical solutions that contribute to financial stability. He noted that the Tamalak initiative aims to foster a positive working environment, adding that the partnership reflects a shared interest in building long-term cooperation aligned with Sharjah’s broader development objectives.
