Sharjah 24: The editorial board of "The Young Parliamentarian" magazine held a meeting at the headquarters of the Arab Parliament for the Child (APC) in the Emirate of Sharjah. This meeting was part of ongoing efforts to develop the magazine and enhance its media and intellectual presence as a platform for Arab children to express their opinions and aspirations.
Participating in the meeting were members of the editorial board from APC: Ibtihal Al-Ma'rouf from the Kingdom of Morocco; Ahmed Mohamed Al-Sawy from the Arab Republic of Egypt; Jouya Al-Shabab from the Lebanese Republic; Hour Mustafa Breijieh from the State of Palestine, Zulfa bint Ahmed Al-Rawahi from the Sultanate of Oman; Aisha Ahmed Al-Khayal from the United Arab Emirates; Mahmoud Saber from the Kingdom of Bahrain; and Mu'taz Al-Afifat from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. They discussed ways to improve the magazine's editorial content and strengthen its role in instilling parliamentary culture among children in the Arab world.
Developing the magazine according to the new generation aspirations

The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Ayman Othman Al-Barout, Secretary-General of APC, and His Excellency Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al-Qasimi, Assistant Secretary-General, along with Dr Haider Waqiallah Marwa Al-Suwaidi. They commended the efforts of the editorial team, emphasising the importance of continued teamwork to develop the magazine in line with the aspirations of the new generation.

The meeting addressed mechanisms for developing the magazine in terms of both form and content, and the creation of an interactive online platform specifically for "The Young Parliamentarian." This platform will provide Arab children with a wider space for expression and participation, contributing to broader digital reach and engagement, in accordance with modern media trends and enhancing communication with readers across the Arab world.
High-quality articles

The meeting also included special praise for the fourteenth issue of the magazine, which featured high-quality articles and enriching contributions that reflected children's awareness of social and parliamentary issues. The issue affirmed the magazine's ability to serve as a genuine platform for the voice of Arab children and a bridge connecting parliamentary thought with educational values within a purposeful media framework. The meeting concluded by emphasizing the continuation of work to develop the “Young Parliamentarian” programme so that it remains a bright window for Arab children, promoting a culture of dialogue and participation, and supporting their active presence in the Arab parliamentary work process.
