MoE urges parents to register students before 6 March deadline

Sharjah24: The Ministry of Education has urged parents to register their children promptly for government schools in the 2026–2027 academic year, noting that registration closes on 6 March 2026, after which applications will no longer be accepted.

The Ministry confirmed that registration is open for new students from kindergarten through Grade 12, as well as for students transferring from private schools or institutes to government schools, those arriving from outside the country, and those transferring between government schools. Registration applies to UAE nationals and those of similar status.

Parents can submit applications through the Ministry’s official website or via the smart application (UAE MOE). The Ministry emphasised the need to ensure that personal data linked to the guardian’s digital ID is updated in line with their social status to facilitate the smooth completion of the registration process.

The Ministry also emphasised the need to select the school transport service during the registration period to ensure availability at the start of the academic year.
