According to Italian media reports, including La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport, Dybala underwent surgery in Rome on Friday to repair a complete longitudinal tear of the lateral meniscus in his knee.
Injury discovered after training session
The 2022 FIFA World Cup winner had withdrawn from training on Thursday due to what the club initially described as muscle fatigue before medical examinations confirmed the injury.

Roma’s current league position
The 32-year-old has scored two goals in 17 Serie A appearances this season. Roma currently sit fourth in the league table, 16 points behind leaders Inter Milan and two points behind third-placed Napoli.
