Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Civil Defence Authority announced readiness for the 27th night of Ramadan (Laylat al Qadir) and Eid al-Fitr, with a detailed plan to enhance safety and ensure quick response during emergencies.

The authority relies on a coordinated system to implement its plan, including the deployment of field teams and specialized vehicles in key areas, especially near major mosques. This is complemented by the readiness of operations centers that are open 24/7 to take in reports and follow up on cases immediately. Furthermore, deployment points have strengthened their presence at several important locations to ensure quick responses to reports.

Brigadier General Yousef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority, confirmed that the Authority has developed a comprehensive operational plan that considers the nature of community movement during the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan, and the large attendance of worshippers in mosques.

He added that the Civil Defence system in the emirate uses an integrated network of field centers equipped with specialized vehicles and advanced communication systems that enables live monitoring and quick dispatch of teams to site.

The authority's plan includes conducting field inspections around mosques and facilities that experience increased activity during the final days of Ramadan.

The authority urged members of the community to adhere to public safety guidelines, cooperate with civil defence teams, and avoid any potentially dangerous practices.
