Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, stated that the initiative reflects the municipality’s commitment to field readiness and rapid response. Teams immediately began clearing water, removing debris, and repairing wind damage, restoring affected sites to a condition “better than before.”
The initiative aims to rehabilitate and beautify public squares, essential facilities, restrooms, beaches, and natural areas in Al Hamriyah, while improving residents’ quality of life, maintaining environmental sustainability, and showcasing the emirate’s civic identity.
Al Shamsi highlighted the municipality’s integrated action plan with performance indicators aligned to its strategic goals, optimising human, technical, and operational resources. He praised community cooperation, noting that residents’ feedback accelerated responses and contributed to the initiative’s success.
Field teams will continue implementing structured plans to ensure ongoing public cleanliness and preparedness, reinforcing Al Hamriyah’s position as a fully developed urban destination.
