The lecture comes as part of a series of programmes and activities organised by the club to enhance the cultural and professional standards of its members and to foster a positive work environment based on constructive sports dialogue and mutual positive interaction.
The session highlighted the importance of effective communication skills in sports and administrative work environments. Dr Atiya Al Sayed reviewed the fundamentals of eloquent speech, methods of conveying ideas clearly and confidently, and active listening skills, which are essential pillars for successful dialogue. He also emphasised the importance of body language and its role in reinforcing verbal messages, noting that communication extends beyond words to include gestures and behaviours that reflect the speaker’s personality.
The lecturer also addressed methods of managing dialogue in various situations, especially during disagreements or under pressure, stressing the need for calmness, flexibility, and respect for differing viewpoints to reach shared solutions that serve collective interests. He presented several real-life examples and practical applications that enhanced participants’ understanding of the concepts discussed.
The lecture witnessed strong engagement from attendees, who raised numerous questions and inquiries, adding a dynamic and interactive nature to the session and facilitating the exchange of experiences among participants.
At the conclusion of the event, Dr Mohammed Ahmed Al Muttawa reaffirmed the club’s commitment to organising such educational initiatives that contribute to developing administrative and technical staff and enhancing their communication and teamwork skills. He noted that investing in personal skill development is a key pillar for achieving institutional and sporting excellence.
