Roma boost Champions League hopes

Dutch forward Donyell Malen led the way with a clinical hat-trick, scoring all three of Roma’s shots on target. He has now netted 10 goals in 12 league appearances since joining in January.

The win helped Roma bounce back from last week’s heavy 5–2 defeat to Inter Milan, lifting them to sixth place with 57 points, just one point behind fourth-placed Como. Juventus, also on 57 points, sit fifth, while Atalanta are seventh with 53.

Pisa remain bottom of the table in 20th place, stuck on 18 points.
