EPAA honours winners of green initiative

Sharjah24: Her Excellency Aisha Rashid Ali bin Dimas Al Suwaidi, Chairperson of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) in Sharjah, announced the conclusion of the third edition of the “My Green Environment is My Future” initiative, organised by the Authority with the participation of schools and educational institutions. The initiative showcased a range of innovative and creative ideas and projects aimed at protecting the environment and preserving nature. Winners were honoured at the closing ceremony on Thursday morning at the Al Dhaid Wildlife Museum.

Initiative concludes third edition

The ceremony marked the conclusion of the initiative’s third edition, with participation from various schools and educational institutions and recognition of the top-ranking winners.

Her Excellency expressed pride in the innovative projects presented by participating students, noting that the work reflected deep environmental awareness and demonstrated the passion of younger generations and their commitment to shaping a safe and sustainable environmental future for the nation.

Encouraging real-world impact

She emphasised the need to continue these efforts and encouraged students to turn their promising ideas into real projects that contribute to sustainable development in the United Arab Emirates.

She also thanked partners and supporters for their key role in enabling the initiative and for providing a supportive environment for creativity, in line with the goal of building a safe and sustainable environment.
