Sharjah 24: Inter Milan cruised to a 3-0 victory over Cagliari in the 33rd round of the Italian Serie A football league.
Inter Milan moved closer to securing their 21st Serie A title after defeating Cagliari 3-0 in the 33rd round of matches.
Inter's goals were scored by Frenchman Marcus Thuram (52'), Nicolo Barella (56'), and substitute Piotr Zielinski (90+2').
Significant morale boost
Inter increased their lead at the top of the table to 78 points, 12 points ahead of second-placed Napoli, who host Lazio on Saturday. Cagliari remain on 33 points in 16th place.
Inter also received a significant morale boost ahead of their Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against Como on Tuesday, following a goalless draw in the first leg in Como.
