Sharjah 24: Italian club Juventus announced the extension of midfielder Manuel Locatelli's contract until 2030.
Midfielder Manuel Locatelli has extended his contract with Juventus until 2030, according to an announcement by the fourth-placed team in the Italian Serie A.

The midfielder, who has co-captained Juventus this season, joined the "Old Lady" in 2021, initially on loan from Sassuolo, before signing a permanent contract in 2023.

Since joining, Locatelli (36 international caps and three goals for Italy) has made 224 appearances in all competitions for Juventus, scoring nine goals and providing 17 assists.

Retaining key international talent

"This extension represents a further step to strengthen and sustain our sporting project, looking to the future and aiming to make the team even more competitive," said club general manager Damien Comolli in an official statement. Juventus currently occupies fourth place in the Italian league, the last qualifying position for the UEFA Champions League, two points behind fifth-placed Como, and will visit eighth-placed Bologna on Sunday in the thirty-third round of matches.
