Sharjah24: Inter Milan were held to a 2-2 draw by Torino FC in matchweek 34 of the Serie A, missing the chance to secure a comfortable win.

Two-goal lead slips away

Inter looked on course for an easy win after taking a two-goal lead through Marcus Thuram (23’) and Yann Bisseck (61’), with both goals assisted by Federico Dimarco.

Torino fight back late

The hosts mounted a strong comeback in the final 20 minutes, with Giovanni Simeone reducing the deficit (70’), before Nikola Vlašić equalised from the penalty spot (79’).

Title race still in Inter’s hands

Despite the draw, Inter remain firmly in control of the title race, holding a 10-point lead over Napoli, who won their match earlier in the round.

Inter will have the opportunity to clinch the title when they host Parma Calcio in the next round.

Missed winning chance

Late in the match, Piotr Zieliński nearly secured victory for Inter, but his effort narrowly missed the target in stoppage time.
