Sharjah Civil Aviation launches free youth training programme

Youth session highlights aviation opportunities

The session, titled “Empowering Youth in the Aviation Sector,” addressed the strategic importance of aviation and reviewed key challenges facing young people entering the aviation and tourism sectors.

It was attended by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Issam Al Qasimi and Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Thani, together with officials and specialists.

Free training programme for youth

Sheikh Khalid announced a five-day free training programme offered by the Aviation Sciences Vocational Training Centre, affiliated with the department, for young people interested in exploring aviation fields and specialisations.

The programme is scheduled to begin during the summer holiday.

Supporting national talent development

He emphasised the vital role of the aviation sector in supporting the UAE’s economy and highlighted the need to equip youth with the skills and knowledge required to enter this key industry.
