His Excellency Brigadier Dr Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of the General Directorate of Prevention and Safety, said the initiative marks a shift from reactive measures to proactive prevention, guiding companies to comply with approved safety requirements and strengthen their capacity to manage occupational risks.
The team will conduct field visits to register unregistered companies and to deliver integrated training programmes and technical consultations. These efforts aim to raise awareness of best occupational safety practices, reduce workplace incidents and promote safer working environments.
Colonel Jassim bin Tulaia, Director of the Accreditation and Training Department, said the initiative supports the development of a preventive security system and reinforces safety as a shared responsibility among all stakeholders.
He emphasised that investing in prevention is an investment in people and a key pillar for improving quality of life, and called on companies and institutions to engage with the proactive team and benefit from its services to achieve full compliance with safety regulations.
