Unlike traditional performances, the concert invites audiences to sing along, creating a participatory experience that unites citizens and residents through music rooted in the nation’s cultural identity.
The programme spans songs from the 1970s to the present, featuring iconic works such as “Dar Zayed” and “Sawf Nahmi Al Etihad” that reflect pride, unity and a strong sense of belonging.
It also includes “Rijal Wallah Rijal,” a poem by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan honouring the nation’s heroes, and “Zanaha Zayed,” which captures the UAE’s journey of transformation.
Her Excellency Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State and Chairperson of the Orchestra, said the concert highlights culture's role in strengthening identity and bringing people together through shared experiences.
Sheikha Alia bint Khalid Al Qassimi noted that the programme is built around familiar songs that audiences can connect with, thereby transforming music into a collective and meaningful experience.
Presented through live orchestral and choral performances, the concert offers a fresh perspective on beloved national songs while honouring those who contribute to the UAE’s security, stability and progress.
