The event featured participation from more than 14 countries, with Menassah presenting 259 titles totalling 1,315 books in collaboration with 45 publishers, thereby reinforcing the presence of Emirati literature within Arab communities in Canada.
His Excellency Rashid Al Kous, the company’s General Manager, highlighted Menassah’s role in connecting Emirati creativity with international readers and in fostering a culture of reading, particularly among younger generations.
Al Kous emphasised the importance of developing innovative distribution systems aligned with evolving reader behaviours and of showcasing the company’s services and operational model to global audiences.
He noted that participation in the fair marks a key milestone in the international journey of Emirati books, reflecting the growth and competitiveness of the UAE’s publishing industry as it accesses diverse cultural markets.
The initiative underscores Menassah Distribution Company’s role in strengthening cultural exchange by connecting publishers to global markets and enhancing the international dissemination of Arabic content.
