Sharjah 24: The UAE national under-17 football team opened their campaign in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup with a 1-1 draw against South Korea, in the match that brought the two sides together in Group C at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium (Pitch B) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Batty Khamis scored the UAE national team’s goal in the eighth minute.

Yemen clash next on Sunday

The UAE will next face Yemen on Sunday at 8:30pm UAE time.
