The meeting, hosted by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau via the “Sharjah 24 platform”, brought together representatives from the SDPW Corporate Communications Centre and the Sharjah 24 team.
The discussions centred on enhancing the presentation of infrastructure projects and public services via more dynamic and accessible digital content.
The two sides also spoke about ways to bring SDPW’s work closer to the public through Sharjah 24, particularly by presenting projects in a more engaging visual way and using updated digital storytelling tools.
Sharjah’s development vision
There was agreement on the importance of keeping media messaging in step with Sharjah’s broader development direction, especially regarding sustainability efforts and improving the quality of life in the community.
Cooperation in field coverage and production
The discussion further looked at how both teams can work more closely on the ground, from covering field activities and capturing photography and video to coordinating media campaigns around government projects.
Strengthening coordinated media efforts
Both sides noted that continued coordination between government entities and media platforms plays an important role in reflecting ongoing development across the emirate in a clearer and more accessible way.
The meeting ended with a mutual commitment to continue working closely together in the future and emphasised the importance of coordinated communication that actively engages the public in a transparent and concise manner.
