Sharjah24: The Sharjah Institute for Judicial Sciences organised a training programme on judicial authority procedures aimed at qualifying and training employees from Sharjah Government entities, including the Civil Aviation Authority and the Social Services Department, in preparation for granting them judicial officer status. The programme was held from 4 to 13 May as part of efforts to enhance legal knowledge and develop practical skills related to judicial enforcement procedures.

Strengthening legal and judicial competencies

The programme forms part of the institute’s ongoing efforts to develop legal and judicial competencies and improve the readiness of specialised personnel, supporting the quality of performance and enhancing the efficiency of the judicial system.

It included a range of legal topics and practical applications linked to the duties of judicial officers, in addition to explanations of the legal procedures governing enforcement and investigation operations. The programme aimed to strengthen participants’ efficiency and raise their level of legal awareness.

Focus on practical application

Judge Shamma Al Salman, Director of the Sharjah Institute for Judicial Sciences, said the programme reflects the institute’s commitment to preparing qualified personnel equipped with the legal knowledge and practical skills necessary to carry out judicial authority duties efficiently, in a way that enhances performance quality and ensures compliance with approved legal procedures.

She added that the programme focuses on practical application alongside legal foundations, with the aim of enabling participants to handle various cases and procedures related to judicial enforcement tasks according to best practices, while supporting the justice system and improving institutional efficiency.
