The conference, held under the theme "Smart Engineering of Social Service: From Professional Practice to Effective Leadership – Organised Awareness," brought together a select group of specialists and leaders in the field of social service. It included dialogue sessions and specialised workshops discussing the development of the social work system and enhancing integration among institutions. The conference was organised by the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD).
The paper reviewed SPGC experience in developing community awareness and transforming it from a traditional media activity into an institutional preventive system based on data, impact measurement, integrated partnerships, and multiple media channels. The paper addressed the importance of awareness in confronting societal challenges such as traffic violations, cybercrime, begging, risks associated with children and students, and weak digital and family literacy. It emphasised that proper awareness contributes to modifying behaviour before it escalates into a security or social problem.
The paper also reviewed three main areas of awareness: traffic awareness, security awareness, and community awareness, in addition to highlighting the results of awareness campaigns during 2025. Furthermore, the paper highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in analysing campaign results, identifying the groups most in need of awareness, and improving awareness messages to enhance quality of life and promote a culture of prevention within the community.
