Sharjah24: His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, attended the “Our Flag Our Pride” cycling event at the Al Suyoh cycling track, which aimed to promote national identity and unity.

The event, organised by the Sports Activities Section, brought together senior officials, officers and personnel, who formed a unified display bearing the UAE flag, a scene that reflected loyalty and national pride.

Enhancing national identity in the work environment

Brigadier Faisal bin Nassar, Director General of the General Directorate of Community Protection and Prevention, said that national belonging remains a core pillar of the police work environment.

He noted that such initiatives reflect the leadership’s vision to reinforce national identity and promote it within institutional culture.

Linking sport with values and wellbeing

He added that combining sport with national values helps build balanced, positive cadres, enhances professional readiness, and encourages healthy lifestyles.
