Al Ghais explained that the Sharjah Museums Authority continues its celebrations under this year’s theme, “Museums Unite a Divided World”, with cultural and interactive activities that began at Sharjah Fort and the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilisation.
She added to statements for “Sharjah24” that the activities will conclude at the Sharjah Maritime Museum with guided tours and interactive programmes for teenagers and people with disabilities, alongside workshops and youth initiatives presented by graduates of the “Sharjah Museums Ambassadors” programme.
Al Ghais also invited the public to visit Sharjah museums until 31 May and to participate in the “Sharjah Museums Passport” campaign by collecting stamps from five museums to be in with a chance of winning valuable cash prizes.
